Certified in accordance with FSC® und PEFC™
Nordemann is certified to meet the requirements for responsibly sourced timber as per FSC® and PEFC™. The responsible forestry marks of the certification systems are key quality features. They may only be used by certified companies that meet high requirements and document active environmental protection, which is closely monitored by independent organisations. Those who opt for our products are thereby choosing the environment and the protection of forests and nature.
Resource-efficient production
Nordemann attaches particular importance to the protection of natural resources. This applies not only to our wood processing, but also in relation to the sustainable use of energy. Our production structures are designed to be energy-efficient throughout. We use climate-friendly electricity from renewable sources for production and to supply the administrative areas.
Involvement in nature conservation
To contribute as much as possible to greater sustainability, we also pursue unusual paths. Take nature conservation and species protection, for example. For example, several bee colonies reside on the Nordemann premises. We have planted various fruit trees for them. The trees create attractive habitats for bees and other insects, provide pollen and nectar and by adding more greenery, ensure a sustainable contribution to climate protection. Ecology and economy are not contradictory.
